Sony Turns PS Vita Into Home Console

PlayStation Vita TV

It plays PS1, PSP, and PlayStation Vita games all for just $95. It can also run apps like YouTube and Netflix. It's basically a small box set that streams content like Apple TV and Roku. Except it's smaller and this one play games too! And that's the real kicker here--why would you ever chose any of the other ones when this one plays real video games. It also looks like it can stream your future PS4 over wifi! If all this sounds too good to be true, it actually might be. If it doesn't come in black, it doesn't come to the US. So far it's scheduled for a release date of November 14, 2013, only in Japan.

Sony announced the new Vita TV at their pre-TGS press conference. They also announced a slim PS Vita which is also Japan-only currently. Why are they getting all the good stuff?! Oh yeah, they're getting the PS4 months after the rest of the world... February 22, 2014.

Check if it's on Amazon yet
